Maxwell Mosaics

In 2010, we began creating customized wedding gifts for friends and relatives.  After successful completion of our first few items and extremely positive feedback, we have decided to offer custom made mosaic Wedding Cake Plaques and Wedding Photograph Frames on our website.

These very unique mosaic art pieces make truly personal and one of a kind gifts that will not only amaze and delight the wedding couple, but will forever be a cherished gift.   

About the Images

The materials for the frames might include china pieces, costume jewelry & pearls, photographs under glass, or anything that is suggested or requested by the client(s).

The prices for Frames start at $100.00.  The sizes include 5" x 7", 8" x 10" and 12" x 14".

The materials for the cake plaques might include tile (plain and unique pieces), broken china pieces, stained glass, costume jewelry & pearls and found objects.

The prices for Wedding Cake Plaques start at $200.00 and up, depending on the overall size and detail.  The sizes start at 12" high x 14" wide.

More Information

We will consult with the client(s) to obtain details for the cake and the couple on top of the cake. The consultation and estimate are free.  Next, we create a sketch of the art work and upon the client's review and approval, we will cut out a base and begin the mosaic work. 

The art created can be abstract and non-representational or very detail orientated. The required time from consultation to completion is two to four weeks, depending on detail.
